| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 健康促進與休閒管理碩士在職專班 === 96 === This study aimed at understanding the current status of group training in junior high schools’ and elementary schools’ baseball teams in Hualian and Taitung County. In addition, know the current status by descriptive analysis and compare the differences of impeding factors which those primary baseball teams encounter.
The way to research is based on questionnaire survey, and the tool of research is “ the survey list of the factors relating to group training of the primary baseball teams in Hualian-Taitung areas”. Research results are as follows:
1.On the aspect of organizing current status, the quantity of schools’ group training in Taitung County is correspondent to that of the past. On the contrary, the quantity of schools in Hualian County is decreasing. The reason why to establish a baseball team is that because the baseball is the tradition of school itself. The proportion is the highest. The source of coaches is mostly teachers volunteering themselves; incentive for coaches is mostly verbal praise; most budget usually come from “ educational special fund to subsidy from educational government; the way to encourage athletes are both material and spirit level; most coaches have no allowance and step of decreasing lessons; the athletes are mostly from the ones who are interested in baseball.
2.On the aspect of discipline and guidance, the time baseball team train the athletes is mainly after school. The practicing hours are usually within 2 hours per day. Most schools’ baseball teams arrange camp training in winter and summer vacations. The place where school s’ baseball teams train the athletes are mostly arranged inside the school. The equipment and supplies are purchased by schools’ special fund. Most schools make both training plans and schoolwork guidance. Students’ life guidance is formulated, and its proportion is the highest. Besides, most of the mentoring is done by the class teachers. With regards to the future mode of mentoring, most of the choices are made by the athletes themselves.
3.The impeding factors:
The impeding factors about the group training of schools’ baseball teams between Hualian County and Taitung County have no obvious differences.
