碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 97 === The main purposes of this research were to explore the significance viewpoints of the senior principal on punishment matter, and to understand the real meanings of those kinds of punishment from his substantial experience, and furthermore to avoid that the teachers use a lot of impropriate punishment on the students in instruction. In this research , all of the important data of the interviews were written down with the original words for presenting clearly to the readers, and besides the researcher examined reliability and effectiveness for the articles to prevent researcher spelling erros and false belief. The main findings of the research were as follows: 1. Instructors should teach students in different ways regarding on their different natures of the students. 2. Schooling should be a student-centered one for realizing about the significance of punishment. 3. Instructors should be reasonable to keep away from punishment event. 4. Punishment should stand for authority and justice in schooling. 5. Instructors should focus on resolving problems,not on punishing itself just for the sake of punishing. 6. Instructors should insist on their excellent quality and ideal whem teaching students. At last,the inspiration is that the principal's viewpoint on punishment can offer parents or teachers many suitable stratages to teach, and help school establish appropriate assistant system of education.
