Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育學系(所) === 97 === Abstract The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of life attitude which integrating life educating curriculum into Chinese subject for upper grade in the elementary school. Quasi-experimental study was used. Two classes of fifth-grade students from Rua-Gan Elementary School in Pingtung County were randomly assigned to either the experiment group or the control group. The former received a 5 week long integrated life education/Chinese curriculum, while the latter did not receive any treatment. Before and after the experiment, both groups took a test of a scale of life attitude. This study discovered that integrating life educating curriculum into Chinese subject had significant effect for students. The results of data of qualitative study from student sheets, questionnaires of life training curriculum feedback and records of teachers’ observation determined that students were positively acceptable interrogating life educating curriculum into Chinese subject. The findings of the study are as follows. I. The life education curriculum supports affirmative life attitude toward students. II. Students are higher acceptable with diversified teaching instruction. III. Excess study sheets decrease the interests of learning life education the students. IV. Life education curriculum integrating with Chinese subject in elementary school is significantly feasible. V. The correlation of teachers and the students and peer-group facilitate the teaching efficient of life education. According to the result, applications in schools and administration as well as recommendation for follow-up study and life education implementation are provided.
