The text naturally combines the reality and illusion of fantasy in the way of inter-textual narrative commonly found in fairytales in which the storyteller mediates between the sender and the receiver through whole story. It has special value as young adult fiction for study. What Benjamin in The Storyteller as experienced in the book can be related to the declining of the oral tradition. To delve into historical process, it is aimed to emphasize the charm of story, the urge for it and as a result, the recurrence of storyteller. The Inkheart of Cornelia Funke can be considered as a 21st classical fantasy which is full of fun, story and prediction. It is a book about books with abundant fantastic scenes and characters that perfectly illustrates joy, horror and tacit.
