This thesis draws the attention on the emergence and its further development of Hualien Literature; explore the mixture and exchange of fictionality and factuality presented in writings so as to clarify the interplay among history, geography and human experiences. In addition, the thesis discovers the humanitarian concerns as the writers produce their works and fulfill the parts that have been neglected with a regard to the interdependence, practice and exchange between human and place.
