碩士 === 國立臺灣藝術大學 === 工藝設計學系碩士班 === 96 === Abstract In 1870 age, a new artistic movement main axles were start by the craft domain, its objective was “the new source material new performance”, thus accomplished has most received the attention of the new source material - glass.The glass are not only the pure intermediary material, other material qualities have not been able to look like the glass capture color, sending out dazzling gloss. “Air bubble” in the daily life is joyful and the happy symbol, but the air bubble in the glass often is recognized as a slight defect.The main purpose of this creation lies in the expectation subversion of the mechanical impression that air bubble is the slight defect in the glass, by the air bubble strengthen glass life sense of reality, causes it to become a part of glass art appreciation, then to amplify the best visual effect between glass and bubbles— romantic, colorful, fascinating. This research is an actual experience of glass creation. Through experiment, we can handhold the subtle association and causality between glass and bubbles, moreover, construct the concepts and directions of both manufacture and application of glass bubble.The work divides into three series, including sea, cell body, life body series. We can say that sea is the Mother of Life. Cells are born in the sea and form various lives through evolution as well as the glass is made up of bubbles.This creation emphasizes the artistry’s interior changes by bubbles’ showcases. Let glass and bubbles tell light, power, momentum and life.
