Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 機械工程系 === 96 === This research mainly focuses on the fabrication of AZ31 and AZ61 channel type magnesium alloy parts by hot extrusion. The extrusion dies used in this paper are right angle dies with extrusion ratio 11.43, the thickness of the channel rib is 3mm . In order to discuss the influence of different extrusion ratio on the poperties of the products, AZ61 magnesium alloy is applied to carry out the experiment of extrusion ratio 16.75. First of all, the quality quantitative analysis of Taguchi Method is employed to analyze the effects of different process parameters (heating temperature of billet, temperature of container, extrusion speed and lubricant) on the mechanical properties and extrusion load of channel type parts. The quality quantitative analysis of Taguchi Method is employed to analyze the optimal process parameters for the acquisition of AZ31 and AZ61 magnesium alloy parts. The research also uses the optimal combination of parameters to conduct confirmative experiments, compares the experimental results at different extrusion ratios. Metallographic microstructure of the finished product are observed, hoping to clarify the influence of process parameter of the hot extrusion on the fabrication of channel type parts, and the correlation among the mechanical properties of the finished products. And then compare the mechanical properties of the products of magnesium alloys(AZ31 and AZ61) and that of aluminum alloy (6061). Finally, used Finite Element Analysis Software(DEFORM) to analyze the formability of magnesium alloy under hot extrusion.
