Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 生活應用科學研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this study was to understand how the international tourist hotels in Taipei participated in cooperative education. For example, how to dispose the manpower for trainees appropriately, and how to understand relevant management of selecting, training, controlling, wage and welfare. Besides, look over if the cooperative education was proper through the proprietors’ view. This study adopted the way of qualitative research for five international tourist hotels in Taipei. On the base of phenomenology and grounded theory, it carried on face-to-face interview. Simultaneously, it was analysed by narrative analysis and triangulation. The results of the study were as follows: 1. In order to fill the gap of manpower, obtain stable manpower, have the trainees with the relevant backgrounds of food and beverage and travel, reach the goal of raising talents, the international tourist hotels in Taipei participated in cooperative education. 2. To make cooperative education stable, most of the international tourist hotels in Taipei adopted six-month or one-year period of type. 3. The international tourist hotels in Taipei considered personal characters, attitudes, language ability, and appearance. 4. The international tourist hotels in Taipei offered the trainees training, language course, communicating skill course, hygiene and safety course. But it had no obvious rules of assessment for training. 5. Most of the trainees in the international tourist hotels in Taipei were from food and beverage department. The international tourist hotels in Taipei would have some people who took part-time jobs instead of the trainees when the contracts were stopped. 6. The international tourist hotels in Taipei would lengthen the period to keep the service quality stable while replacing. 7. Most trainees’ salary was NT18,000 monthly. For welfare, trainees were the same as staff. 8. The international tourist hotels in Taipei were worried about the trainees’ personal psychology, performance, resisting press, life management, body endurance, etc. 9. The international tourist hotels in Taipei thought the teachers should improve their professional degree and teaching attitudes. They had to tell the students the true environment in the international tourist hotels without more promises. According to the conclusion of the study, the suggestions were raised for the trainees, schools, international tourist hotels, and researchers in the future.
