Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 舞蹈研究所 === 96 === This dissertation aims at researching and analyzing parents’education choice and decision attitude in private dance schools in Taipei city as to understand parents’ education choice and decision. 285 parents or guardians in private dance schools in Taipei city are taken as research objects and the author’s self-edited “Questionnaire for parents’ education choice and decision attitude in private dance schools in Taipei city” is used as the research method to implement questionnaires. After practical investigation data collected by descriptive statistics, single factor analysis of variation (ANOVA), and Scheffe’s method and analyzed SPSS/PC 11.0 software package, the derived conclusion are described as in the following: 1. Priority sequence of parents’ choice and decision contents in private dance schools in Taipei city is : 1. Course contents, 2. Children’s learning, 3. Education target, 4. Teachers’ background, 5. Teaching strategies, 6. Environment and facilities,7.Information, and 8. Personal considerations. 2. The top priority of parents’ education choice and decision in private dance schools in Taipei city are: 1. Teachers’ teaching attitudes, 2. Fire-fighting and public security inspection in private dance schools, 3. course content development influence on children’s physical functionality (such as rhythm, balance, flexibility, muscle endurance, coordination control and response…etc.), 4. learning opportunities in children’s mutually-reactive groups, 5. children’s motives for learning in private dance schools, 6. qualified registration licenses of private dance schools, and 7. private dance schools’ (or teachers’)education philosophies. 3. There are significant differences among such parents’ background variations as parents’ choices of education contents, education target, course contents,teachers’backgrounds,personalconsiderations, etc. Based on the research results mentioned above, the researcher submits suggestions as in the following for parents in private dance schools, private dance schools and dance teachers separately: 1. Suggestions for parents 1) Before making choice decisions, parents can collect information concerning private dance schools as possible as can as to perfect choice preparation. 2) Before children start learning, parents can react with teachers mutually as to understand teachers’ teaching ideas. 3) Parents can submit proper suggestions via communication during children’s learning. 2. Suggestions for private dance schools 1) Developing private dance schools’ characters to satisfy parents’ various demands (1) Establishing multiple-function classroom (2) Establishing entertainment and leisure centers (3) Paying attention to children’s environment safety 2) Arranging schedules convenient for parents to attend as possible as can 3) Encouraging parents’ involvement 3.
