From the travel investigation of Tourism Bureau, it shows that tourism has gradually become a main leisure activity of Taiwan people. Among these travel activities, the family travel establishing parent-child emotion is a major part of national travel. However, some researches point out that travel with children will face some situations, like children suddenly get angry, and it will affect the original good mood of parents. Therefore, it seems that the interaction relationship between members plays an important role in travel quality. As a result, the objective of this study is to identify if the parent-child relationship will affect the leisure experience of parents during the family travel, and if parents’ gender role will cause the moderating effect in parent-child relationship and leisure experience. This research adopts the convenient sampling, and the parents of Xinshang, Jingmei, Ximen and Nangang elementary schools’ students are the main sampling subjects. A total of 400 questionnaires were completed, of which283 were valid. The response rate is 70.75%. The results indicate that there is a positive relationship between parent-child relationship and leisure experience. This means that if the relationship of parents and children is better, the leisure experience of parents will also get better. However, the interaction between parents’ gender role and parent-child relationship do not affect leisure experience. Thus, it appears that parents’ gender role can not cause the moderating effect in parent-child relationship and leisure experience. Ya-Li Chang 張雅莉 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 102 zh-TW
