Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 資訊傳播研究所 === 96 === Multi-spectral approach is used to model the color characteristics of oriental watercolor painting on two kinds of rice paper. Special attention is placed on the interaction of the “paper white” due to the different surface property of the rice paper. Color ramps are made with pigments and dyes which are used mostly by oriental artists. The measured spectral reflectances of the color ramps are analyzed by three different models (simple additive model, simple subtractive model and single-constant Kubelka-Munk model) with two methods (regression and principal component analysis) to derive the color primaries for two different types of backing. Color difference is used as the index to determine which approach performs better. It turns out that when using regression approach, the simple-subtractive mixing model results in better performance. However when using the principal component analysis, the simple additive model results in the best performance.
