It’s interesting that how those painters to find the purpose for creation from their own belief and to think over the relation to living environment around then transferred to their own source of creation during the Renaissance leading by religion. Rome, the center of Catholicism during the Renaissance; the history meaning is to combine the politics and the religion that also means the perfect reproduction from combination of religion art and politics art. It’s diversified style with some alternates of old culture and new culture as well as compromise and integrations. Raphael is the famous one to conquer Rome by his perfect painting skills. In the essay of ‘Sovereignty: Organized hypocrisy’ wrote by Marx and Engels they mentioned that Raphael’s creations was much affected by the prospectus of Rome; Da Vinci’s development of his creations was much affected by the whole environment of Florance; Titian’s productions were affected deeply by the development of Venice. All these famous artists are just like any one other artist; their talent could be discovered and showed smoothly is because the art education in their childhood especially depended on the civilization as well as people’s education level at that time. Luckily, Raphael is the most wonderful example to prove that his achievement complemented with the environment perfectly. In his short but bright life for creation, we are able to obtain the completed feeling expression of himself from his creation – Madonna del Gardllino, his typical art creations: it’s not only the outstanding performance for that the civil idealism conquered the Christian religion and ideal cloister but also the perfect combination of personality and idealism during the Renaissance. Just like Vasari, the art critic commented: Raphael was surrounded by love, happiness and joyfulness in his life so his art is the song of joyfulness. His creations were related to religions all the time cause he did not have many choices and asked by the Pope; but this aroused his inspiration for creating and he endowed with these old subject matters of common practice a new art life. This was why Raphael’s productions were more than other artists at the same age with duplicated subject. He was able to re-arrange the painting skills and details he used continually even for the whole processing of art arrangement on his paintings to express the art style of classical Greece and Rome. No wonder that he is the pioneer in those artists of Western Europe Art Classicism. Mei-Er Weng Kun-Cheng Hsu 翁美娥 許坤成 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 216 zh-TW |

Rome, the center of Catholicism during the Renaissance; the history meaning is to combine the politics and the religion that also means the perfect reproduction from combination of religion art and politics art.
