碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 應用數學研究所 === 96 === The science of cryptography means that writes secretly, encrypts information, and hides the information of content. It also refers to all knowledge about studying the secret communication in general now. The mankind using the password has had a history of thousands of years already. The purposes of using password are to protect the content of information and to prevent the non-real message recipient from getting the content of the message. Among the thesis, we first introduce classical techniques of cryptography, then some modern cryptographic techniques, and finally the-state-of-art technology of cryptography such as digital signature and applications on the identity authentication.
