碩士 === 實踐大學 === 時尚與媒體設計研究所 === 96 === From clothing creation, a lot of possibilities can come into existence, which can be represented by many different materials and forms-- the clothing on every human being is also mere one of the many forms. Moreover, there are many other possibilities waiting for us to discover and elaborate. The main purpose of this research is to break clothing away from the restriction of human body, restoring it to a basic component. The researcher intends to make use of the material by the approaches different from the stereotypical rule of clothing, to rethink the distance between man and clothing token, and to apply different materials. With materials simplified from clothing and children art, the researcher explore the interrelationship and representative approaches between children art and clothing and apply the results to the researcher's creation. Based on painting and clothing, the research method includes the imitation of original objects and children painting, and elaborates painting and clothing digitally into the thesis. This research intends to transform 2-dimensional children paintings and semi-3-dimensional sculptures into new structures, and create installation art creation by fusing the painting components in fashion design. The main research method is to apply the artistic paintings by children of different ages, through the structural analysis and psychological discussion, collecting "children looks," "children fun," and "children ideas," to establishing an operation method which specifically belongs to children's color, space, form, and frame. And by digital processing and image analysis, these can be translated into the symbols of fashion design. From 2-dimensional graphic fashion to 3-dimensional art, the research intends to lead people feel the simplicity and rich sensibilities of children art, and the interaction between psychological and emotional developments, and thus create a new possibility of creational approach in fashion design. In this creation research, the researcher expects to transform clothing codes, by the quality of children innocence, children fun, and creativity, into a different representative form of creation. Therefore, painting is no longer 2-dimensional, clothing no longer serves as a demand for human body. This creation needlessly has to be represented by adults’ logic; on the contrary, the creation can be a process and result full of children fun and interests, without constraints, and it can be an expression of fashion. With this research, the researcher expects to develop his/her profession in the field of children art and help children of different stages indulge themselves in artistic creation in a happy and free atmosphere, which leads to different forms of works. By further research and development, the researcher intends to perform the interaction by applying special materials and unrestricted subjects to present a style full of children interests, children purity, limitless imagination, and boldly colorfulness, which results in different features and symbolic meanings derived from clothing.
