Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 音樂學系 === 96 === Three phases of Music Curriculum for young learners (Grade 1 and Grade 2 students) in the elementary of Taiwan have appeared respectively after WWII:Recreation Class、Music and Life Curriculum. Before the implementation of “Grade 1-9 Curriculum” which is carried out in 2001, Music and Physical Education, the two subjects are not always integrated. In all previous revisions of Curriculum Standards, “Recreation Class” is named when the two subjects are combined; and “Music Curriculum” is named while separated. First of all, as far as curriculum is concerned, from the perspective of Curriculum Standards, the collaboration of each subject is clearly shown within the three mentioned phases. In addition, it’s apparent to see the co-relationship among each learning areas is far greater than the verbal meaning declared by their names. Following the sequent developments, the trend of “Grade 1-9 Curriculum”, and the intention to center Life Curriculum as a basic idea, it’s obvious to find out that the Music Curriculum for young learners is heading for curriculum integration and which is historically inevitable. The study is to explore the evolution process and the historical background of Music Curriculum for young learners from the three phases and in the mean time, to discover the track of the development through the analysis of teaching material and to distinguish the future trend of Music Curriculum for young learners.
