Description
Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 企業管理研究所(含碩專班) === 96 === Increasing oil price and decreasing fossil fuel supply have made significant impacts on global economic stability and economic growth, and triggered extensive research and discussion on alternative energies, among which solar energy has shown the greatest potential and feasibility. While the solar energy industry develops; manufacture technology advances; solar cell efficiency improves, countries around the world are promoting solar energy as an alternative that cuts fossil fuel consumption. Public policies over the globe are also encouraging private sectors to develop efficient and affordable solar energy systems, and introducing solar energy to individual end users. In this context, Taiwan has to contemplate on this issue and reshape a comprehensive energy plan in regard to alternative energies and in purpose of elevating its national competitiveness. This study concludes with viable operating strategies for solar energy companies, by interviewing energy experts and conducting Porter's 5 forces analysis on the solar energy industry in reference of related researches and the author’s personal observation.
