碩士 === 世新大學 === 經濟學研究所(含碩專班) === 96 === The study focuses on investigating the competition advantages of TFT-LCD industry among Taiwan, Japan and Korea utilizing Porter double diamond model. The results of questionnaire reveal as follows. First, Taiwanese TFT-LCD firms have the OEM advantage relative to other both countries whereas they have to face the more open domestic market. Secondly, Japanese firms have competitive advantages especially in supply chain and research and development while Korean government is always to provide Korean firms with full supports. Finally, we found that all TFT-LCD firms likely look for the economy of scale via internationalization and vertical integration.
