Because of the Retinex absence use images histogram information distribution, image histogram distribution in deriving Quartile Sigmoid Function (QSF) is proposed. By combining the QSF mapping and Retinex theory, the resulting has shown well in both the rending and contrast enhancement. Sets of images to be used for proposed images enhancement model.
