They are granted more time for recreations and started to seek ways to improve quality of living for stress relief. This is a consequence of the multi-faceted revolution in education. This study focuses on the private vocational and technology schools in Taipei County their recreation activities and recreational obstacles in differences. To collect relevant data, the study conducted in-depth interviews as an application of qualitative inquiry to collect data. The interviewees are thirty teachers in the schools and their recorded interviews have been drafted, from which the draft has been selected the relevant ones, which have been composed into meaningful sentences and are analyzed with interviewees’ actual thoughts and presented accordingly. The study is as follows: 1. Unmarried teachers have a high demand for recreational social activities but they have low level of participation in the activities. The outcome contracts to the demand. 2. They also have a high demand for sports activities but most of them do not have the energy to participate, so the outcome is also somewhat contradictory. 3. Actual participation in time-killing recreations is high because they do not require much input of energy and are able to provide quality recreation. 4. Demand for educational international and national travels is high. Even if they are busy, they would still participate in it because to them, it recompenses their hard work during schools. 5. Hobby recreations have the highest demand as well as participations. Chao-Fu Chang 張朝服 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 193 zh-TW
