Web 1.0 has been upgraded to Web 2.0, along with the changes in transfer, exchange, and display of the Internet, and therefore how should the public library use this feature, utilize the Web 2.0 concept and the Internet marketing, to strengthen the current Internet Service and increase the service value, is a subject that we must discuss. This research, based on the case study of domestic enterprises, through quality and nature observation, conducted function abstract, and carried out the study by means of in-depth interview, and put forward Web 2.0 service pattern, marketing suggestion, and the industrial cooperation direction, and finally, it draw conclusions to be provided for relevant personnel in public library for references. The objective of this research is as follows: understand the Web 2.0 Internet service pattern; discuss the Web 2.0 Internet marketing methods; discuss the Web 2.0 Internet service pattern applied to public library. This research concludes the following results: (1) Pay attention to the user’s requirement, emphasize the importance of “user experience”; (2) Increase users’ stay and use of the website mechanism—Web 2.0 books sharing platform; (3) Enhance the richness of the website’s contents; (4) Through Internet marketing, encourage reading shares; (5) good at making recommendations and contacts through social network, bring along the interaction of social group; (6) Use the Internet marketing tools cooperated with the Web 2.0 concept to conduct marketing; (7) make it convenient for users to take the information away, and transfer them to various equipments; (8) use analysis mechanism to conduct review on operation and marketing. The industrial cooperation suggestions were as follows: (1) resource exchange; (2) expose the library collection resource through other websites; (3) introduce free resources; (4) host book exhibition or united marketing. The study also suggests direction of the future researches: (1) conduct research from the angle of users’ requirement; (2) continue probing into the discussion of the feasibility of other types of library application; (3) keep researching on the services provided on relevant mobile instruments; (4) research on the feasibility of letting users to develop tools by themselves under the openness concept.
