Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) is used extensively in recent years as an important technology which aims at global logistics, management of the storage, transportation, tracking, and medical service. In this study, the RFID Technology is used to the management of campus recreation equipments. The intentions are to examine the problems in adopting RFID technology for the management system, and to explore the resolution criteria for a successful RFID implementation using rigorous case study methodologies. The empirical results in this study are summarized as follows: (1) using UML sequent diagram to explain the operation sequence for the RFID management system; (2) finding the best RFID tag position on the recreation equipments; (3) explaining the conversion of the campus equipment code into EPC; (4) providing useful and helpful references of RFID implementation for local schools when they undergo the processes of selecting and implementing RFID systems on equipment management.
