Auther find that there are good effects to after-school program participators in the literature, especially to the children of disadvantaged family. This research use quantification to investigate the children of the school that the organizations which undertake the program of Children’s Bureau ministry of the Interior R.O.C to serve in Hualien, to know the effect of after-school to the disadvantaged family’ children. This research focus on the effect of the demography, causes and condition of participation and self-regulation to self-efficacy. The findings show that the more younger children with more good self-efficacy, it means that we should provide after-school programs to disadvantaged family as early as possible and we should provide diffent kinds of programs in order to suit each participator. The motive of participation is a most important factor, the more motive the more good self-efficacy and friend is an important element. How to improve the motive with friend relations is an important tactic. At last, more longer time of partivipation and more level of investing, the efficacy of participators is more better.
