By using PHP and MySQL as the development tools and WebQuest educational model as framework we have developed new course content modules in addition to those original modules such as assignment, discussion forum, etc. on the Moodle platform. Teachers will only need to enter into this course design platform to establish their Webquest-styled course curricula. This research hopefully not only will reduce the threshold of Webquest –styled course design, but also will provide the monitoring of the students’ progress status through the on-line assessment management functions included in the platform. The conclusion of this research are as follows: (1)The Webquest –styled course module can lighten the load of instructors when designing information seekinginstruction. (2)Web-based Thematic Inquiry Learning still had by the teaching instruction. (3)The Webquest –styled course module may satisfy learners in the study or the emotion exchange. (4)The Webquest –styled course module should be adjust according to learners by deferent stages. Hsin-Li Lin 林新力 2008 學位論文 ; thesis 86 zh-TW
