碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 資訊工程系研究所 === 96 === The purpose of this research is to provide a XML based database data migration system which can help simplify data migration to help database operator easily migrate from the previous system to another optimized database system. Improper database design will cause the low database performance. Moreover, as the scale of data number becomes larger, the management issues involved becomes more complicated and the task of remaining cost effective becomes increasingly challenging. The object of the research is to develop a better database data migration framework for database optimization. Furthermore, a solution of centralized XML based database data migration System was developed. The database data migration solution is a web application based on XML technologies enabling the seamless integration. From the result of this research, we look forward to building up a comprehensive database migration system and the platform for the database management. And we believe the combination of these two can completely ameliorate the Information Appliance qualities and attain to the goal of the cooperation between the business and academic fields.
