Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 音樂學系教學碩士學位班 === 96 === This research seeks to explore the formation of the choral sound results by elementary school children choir among homophonic choral music and polyphonic choral music and blocked seating formation and mixed seating formation. The one-shot case study is used by the experimental study in the Happy Elementary School in Taipei Wenshan district for a 10-week experimental teaching. In this research, self-designed “Master Tours Experts Score”, “Choir members Learn Questionnaire Response”, “Choral Instructor Interviews” and "Observation Form” are used as research tools. The study conclusions are as follows: 1. The homophonic choral music sounds better in the music texture, loudness, rhythm and harmony in complete-mixed seating formation; The vertical-blocked seating formation of the choir has better sound in pitch and quality. However, vowel sounds better in partial-mixed seating formation. 2. Polyphonic choral music in the music texture, volume, harmony and quality have better sounds in partial-mixed seating formation; pitch and the rhythm have better sounds in horizontal- blocked seating formation; vowel sounds better in complete-mixed seating formation. 3. The chorus teacher thinks that seating arrangement used in choir have different chorus sound effect. Changes in the chorus formation could improve the ability of music and maintain students’ interests in learning. 4. Majority choir members prefer block seating formation than the mixed seating formation. The study is offered to the elementary choir instructor for future study, and provides the choir educators the design of the choral arrangement.
