| Summary: | 碩士 === 臺北市立教育大學 === 音樂學系碩士班 === 96 === Since the 20th century, Chinese traditional culture which our compatriots have gradually felt strange about is invaded and replaced by the western culture. The musical culture is the same, too. The traditional musical culture, like Nan-guan, Bei-guan, Peking Opera, or Kunchu, isn’t the focus in the musical study. It has been already replaced western orchestra, opera, and etc.. Ya Yue created from Chou dynasty has failed to be handed down from past generations.
The study is about the thinking of the heritage and social appraisal of Ya Yue in Taiwan, and the main subject is Ya Yue ensemble in Nan Hua University. In order to understand the appraisal of Ya Yue in Taiwane, the author uses the ways of deep interview and paper investigation with the commander, the instructors, and the members in this ensemble, and analyses the social viewpoints of Ya Yue.
The solutions of the interviews and paper investigation are learning Ya Yue affects the students’ mind, talking, attitude in study, and the ability of soluting questions imperceptibly, there is almost no Ya Yue in the Taiwan now, and only the memorial ceremony of Confucius uses it. So, they almost have the optimistic attitude to the performances and fruitful results of Ya Yue ensemble now and consider it have done the best in the finite resource but should find the help from the government and the social organizations to have the advanced development.
At the present day, the countries near Asia all actively restore and maintain the culture of Ya Yue which was spreaded from the system of Chinese culture. In the international trend, we should rebuild the culture of Ya Yue which we lost, enhance its social value, rebuild our musical totem and don’t let others get ahead.
