Description
Summary:碩士 === 大同大學 === 光電工程研究所 === 96 === The major purpose of this thesis is using the excellent physical properties of carbon nano-tubes, such as high current density and low turn-on electric field, to be the emitter of the flat light source. We use the MAGIC software to simulate the electron trajectory between of the cathode and anode, and to calculate current density distribution for different cathode patterns of the cathode in our study. We have also carried out both diode and triode structures of the field emission flat light sources on a glass substrate by thick-film printing technology. On the diode structure, we have designed different patterns to observe the electron emitting effect on the pattern edge. We have also compared the current density for both of point and strip cathode patterns. On triode structure, we have introduced thin-film technology to simplify the steps of fabrication processes to make the gates and electrodes of a triode-type panel. We control the electron beam by changing the gate voltage. The results show that the gate voltage can improve the uniformity and the lifetime of the phosphor coated on the anode.
