Description
Summary:碩士 === 雲林科技大學 === 通訊工程研究所碩士班 === 96 === H.264/AVC Intra Prediction the next generation of technology to provide a lot of the Prediction model and best of the distortion rate (Rate-Distortion Optimization, RDO) , but it’s brings the complexity and computation load increase drastically. The calculation reduce of the Intra Prediction H.264/AVC related research is very important. This paper presents a fast mode decision algorithm for H.264/AVC called Early Detection for Intra Prediction (EDIP) to reduce the amount of computation, this paper using various methods such as: IPCM detection, smooth block detection, SAD (Sum of the Absolute Differences) detection to reduce the amount of computation. Early Detection for Intra Prediction (EDIP) algorithm compared with H.264/AVC JM 10.2 standard version, this paper methods to reduce the average 71 % of the computation, while the average price is PSNR slight decline of about 0.066 dB, and Bitrate average increase of about 2.353 %.
