Although the analog semiconductor market in Taiwan is not quite big and its related industry development is also behind the major country like USA and Japan. Rely on the advantage of OEM & ODM relationship, analog IC providers to collaborate with them with a lower price and prompt service locally and grab a substantial business gradually. Hence, analog IC industry in Taiwan continues growing strongly with double digits in 5 consecutive years. Anticipate a bright foreground of analog IC design and bunch of start-ups established to grab market recently. Even thought, there is very few analog IC design firms can lead the market with success in terms of business scale and competence. Most of them are still struggling on a survival from the competitive and bloody market. The purpose of this research is to study how analog IC design firms in Taiwan makes growing and profitable with a limited resource. This research targets on Taiwan analog design firms and using a deep interview with a group of experts and AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) to verify its KSF (Key Success Factors). Furthermore, using Value Chain to define its internal value activity. From the research results, Four KSFs were selected in a consensus to provide analog design firms about resource allocation and business strategy. They are listed in a priority sequence as following:『Customer Satisfaction』、 『Talent Teams』、『Broad of Product Portfolio』and 『Resource Integration』.
