Description
Summary:碩士 === 真理大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 97 === This theme proposes a hybrid broadcasting method with low buffer requirement for near video-on-demand services. Assume that a server allocates k channels to deliver a video which is divided into equal-sized segments. The basic concepts of schedules of the first k-2 and the other two channels are based on the enhanced recursive frequency splitting and reverse fast broadcasting methods, respectively. Compared with the previous methods, the proposed method not only preserves low buffer requirement, 25% of whole video, but also significantly reduces the maximum waiting time.
