A story named 〈A Hunting by Surrounded〉which was published at 2011 INK magazine is also discussed in the thesis. There are six chapters in the thesis. They are introduction, the biography of BaDai and his writing styles, the military ideas in BaDai’s works, the original images of Puyuma tribe, the historical writing of recollecting group memories and conclusion. The thesis is written by not only analyzing texts but also taking Sun Tzu’s The Art of War, Human Geography, literary sociology, mythology and anthropology as references. Moreover, the interview with BaDai is a strong and indispensable support of the thesis. The conclusion is that BaDai presents lively military scene and traditional tribe culture in his works through clear and confident writing styles. The career soldier experiences and his own Puyuma Tamalakao ethnicity strengthen his writing, especially in writing group history which reconstructs self identity between his sibling and help them cherish their culture legacy.
