Innovation appropriability management processes include interparty trust, joint governance, and procedural justice. A structural equation modeling technique – partial least squares (PLS) – is used to estimate a path model with latent variables. The results indicate that knowledge sharing and network capabilities both have positive impact on alliance performance. Furthermore, interparty trust has a negative and insignificant relation with knowledge sharing, and insignificant impact on network capabilities; the impacts of joint governance on knowledge sharing and network capabilities are significant; and procedural justice does not impact knowledge sharing and network capabilities significantly.
