There are three main purposes as following: 1. to discovery elder volunteers’ intention of attending environmental protection 2. to discovery the learning intention of the duration environmental protection 3. to discovery the effectiveness after attending environmental protection The conclusions of the study are as followings: 1. elder volunteer of environmental protection affects by Tzu-Chi foundation’s relief-cherishing things and goodness 2. significant life experience of elder volunteer of environmental protection affects by the career experiences of environmental protection 3. significant life experience of elder volunteer of environmental protection affects by self relief and the changes of environment 4. elders volunteer of environmental protection observe the working model and reflect self experience with oneself working model 5. the learning intentions are including the basic knowledge, the skills, the attitudes of environmental protection 6. affected by the elder’s prior career experience, the knowledge, skills and attitudes from environmental protection are different to others 7. the experience of environmental protection makes elder health condition, tender temper, optimistic attitudes and the sense of successful 8. the volunteerism of environmental protection is one way of life long learning for elders Key words: elder, volunteer of environmental protection, experiential learning
