Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械工程所 === 97 === Abstract: This work investigated the effect of geometric and operation parameters on the efficiency of twin-screw compressors. Taguchi experiments and ANOVA were conducted to identify the significant parameters and the set of optimal parameters for maximizing the volumetric and indication efficiencies. Results indicated that the most important parameter for volumetric efficiency was the clearance between screws, followed by the rotational speed. The contributions of these two parameters were 66.32% and 28.38%, respectively. The decrease in the clearance between screws and the increase in the rotational speed would decrease the leakage between screws and increase the volumetric efficiency. For the indication efficiency, the most important parameter was the rotational speed, followed by the clearance between screws. The contributions of the rotational speed and clearance between screws were 64.26% and 23.30%, respectively. The increase in the rotational speed and decrease in the clearance between screws would decrease the leakage between screws, increase the isentropic work and increase the indication efficiency.
