碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 機械工程所 === 97 === This study is to use the five-axis machine tool equipment as the processing machine and through the variety of the path planning; we hope to produce a better machining method. This research discusses 3 methods, four face machining method (the way used by the industry), three-axis machining method ,and five-axis machining method. Four face machining method is the way of using the three linearly axis and a rotary axis of the five-axis machine. It uses only one rotary axis in order to make the fixed surface machining of the path of three-axis. Three-axis machining method is to consider the geometric properties of the sloting tool (T-shaped knife) to avoid the interference between the knife and the processing tool and it can be completed by using the traditional three-axis machine. As for the five-axis machining method, it uses the plentiful angles of the two rotary axes in order to avoid the interference. Furthermore, it can directly complete the two steps, rough cut and finish machining, through the characteristics of five-axis. This is different from four face machining method and three-axis machining method. In the end, it analyzes the advantages and disadvantage of every kind of processing for machining time, and it also discusses how the problem occurs.
