Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 台灣文學所 === 97 === Huang Chun-Ming, characterized by the scholars as a writer of the regional literature as well as humanism, has drawn the public’s attention to his works in the field of children’s literature recently. In his regional literature, Huang’s works are full of affection to his homeland and social awareness, and has made his indelible contributions in this field. Yet, can the regional literature really represent all the contributions of his works? From his recent works, one thing needs to pay attention to is that he has gradually converted his work to children’s literature. His enthusiasm in writing children’s drama scripts, training and performing children’s dramas represents his concerns in the issues of children growth and education. Therefore, it’s vital to take an insight look of his literary works from a more spiritual perspective. This thesis attempts to study Huang’s children’s literary works from “the educational them and function” perspective and to illustrate his contributions about the issues of children growth and education. Six chapters are included in this thesis. In the first chapter, the formation of the issue, the analysis of previous studies, research methodology and expected contributions of this thesis are presented. In the second chapter, the concern of Huang in children’s education is discussed. Furthermore, the researcher addresses Huang’s enthusiasm in children’s drama creations and performances, and the audiences’ touching feedback. Follow that, the issue of life education and character education in Huang’s children’s literature are analyzed. And then, an investigation of emotional education in Huang’s children’s literature is carried out in the fourth chapter. In the fifth chapter, the researcher brings up the environmental ethics education in Huang’s children’s literature and carries out an investigation of the connection between Huang’s children’s literature and his affection to his homeland. Finally, a summary and a conclusion of Huang’s children’s literature related to educational theme and a display of its educational function are made in the final chapter. And hope by doing so, the direction of further investigation can be made. Previous researches had paid little attention to Huang’s children’s literature. From the perspective of the theme of the education is a new attempt to study his literary works. By using bildungsroman and erziehungsroman perspectives to analyze Huang’s works, it is hoped that a better understanding of Huang’s literary works in children’s literature can be made, and his efforts in children’s education and his attempts of conveying a positive view of life and education can be recognized.
