Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 高齡者教育所 === 97 === The object of this study is the elderly in Kaohsiung County and City and it studies the learning styles and Web-based learning activities of the older learners. The purpose is to explore the relation between the learning styles and Web-based learning activities of the older learners and used as reference for the elderly themselves and for the elderly education institutions. To this end, the study uses a self-designed questionnaire to collect information on the learning styles and the Web-based learning activities of the older learners. The trust worthiness and the effectiveness of the questionnaire are fairly good. The effective samples of this study include 394 older citizens of Kaohsiung County and City who are above the age of 55. Five conclusions have been drawn from statistical analysis: 1. Most older learners’ learning style is inclined to type of “learning attitude “. 2. Relevant factors of learning style for older learners include gender and age. 3. Most older learners’ Web-based learning activities are inclined to type of “deal” and “communication 4. Gender, age, education and experience of Web-based learning were the related factors that caused significant differences in the adult learners’ Web-based learning activities 5. Data analyses indicated a significant relationship existed between “the older learners’ learning style” and “the Web-based learning activities”. According to these results, this research proposed suggestions for older adult education institutes and older adults themselves. Hope these results will be helpful in terms of their implications for the learning programs of older adults.
