碩士 === 中原大學 === 工業與系統工程研究所 === 97 === The objective of this research is to identify the important quality practices which can be adopted in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Vietnam, and investigate the implementation level of these practices for Vietnam SMEs. Using a questionnaire survey instrument, data was collected in SMEs in Vietnam represents the results of quality management practices and the understanding of the role of quality activities in this country. This study specifically investigates the impact of five aspects of quality practices: product quality, process quality, system quality, total quality and business quality that seem likely to determine whether the companies choose structures rather than another. A sample of 105 Vietnam SMEs was surveyed regarding their practices on these quality aspects and the statistical analyses were conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) to calculate descriptive statistics, reliability analysis, correlation and comparison. The research has provided to develop a measurement system of quality strategy practices and which can be provided as a valuable guideline for the developing countries.
