In this thesis, a novel segmented water base polyurethane / mesoporous material nanocomposite (WPU/NMS) based on 4,4′-methylenebis(cyclo hexyl isocyanate), polycaprolactone, dimethylolpropionic acid, triethylenetetramine, and mesoporous material. Mechanical properties, about mesoporous material in WPU results in a increase in the modulus as comfirmed by DMA studies. From TGA data, increasing of NMS content will shift Td to a much higher temperature. These phenomena is due to porous effect and high contacted area from mesoporous molecular sieves.
