Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 商業設計研究所 === 97 === Abstract Magazine is a press media with lots of information. The diversification of the magazine has made it become multimedia- with not only articles but also a collection of pictures, images and colors. Many international magazines launch the Chinese editions in Taiwan and some of them are more than ten years. In the past, Taiwanese readers are sometimes confused by different style of typesetting and feel inconsistence when reading the international Chinese edition magazine. Therefore proper translation in text, visual consistence and typesetting from original edition to Chinese edition are the crucial points. Take Mina (the Japanese fashion magazine) in Taiwan for example, there are huge differenced in typesetting between the Japanese edition and Chinese edition. However, it is the best sale international fashion magazine in Taiwan. This research is to study the Japanese typesetting from Mina magazine (because it is the best sale in Taiwan) and I will compare the differences between Japanese and Taiwanese style. First, I will brief the development of female fashion magazine from literature review, and then comparing Mina’s Japanese edition and Taiwanese one by visual and test. Finally I will discuss the consistence of these two editions.
