Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電子工程研究所 === 97 === The main objective of this thesis is to design a wireless sensor network for healthcare monitoring system. This network has 3 sensor nodes, 5 routers and 1 coordinator in mesh topology which are using nRF24L01 2.4 GHz transceiver . Each sensor node can transmit directly data to coordinator or through the routers. Each node can also share or use the same router to transmit data at the same time. This network can process 3 types of sensor: pH, ECG and temperature. It means that this network can be used to monitor the quality of water (drinking, swimming pool, aquarium...) by monitor pH and temperature. It also can help doctor to observe for many types of diseases: cardiopathy (from ECG), gastro-esophageal reflux disease (GERD) (from pH), inflammatory bowel diseases (IBDs) (from pH) …without seeing the patients; or it helps patients who can’t go to the hospital but the doctor still can know their health situation. The MEGAWIN MPC82G516A 8 bit microcontroller will be used as MCU for each sensor node. Assembly & C language in Keil C will be used to program for MCU. In addition, Labview 8.5 will be used to design interface and series port RS232 communication to display the data of pH, temperature and ECG. It will automatically decode to separate 3 types of data to display exactly results. The users can also observe the ECG signal from sensor node with graphic LCD128x64, pH and temperature with LCD 16x2.
