Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 97 === This study deals with theory building and practical analysis of personality traits and pay design. As far as theory building is concerned, after review the literature on personality traits and pay design, this study concludes three personality traits and four pay design factors. Based on those two models, we will discuss the concern of they, and that influence and effectiveness. This study regards Autonomy as important variable. Therefore when we discuss the relationships between personality traits and pay design factors, we adopt autonomy contingency variables. Through reviewing related references, we develop the framework of the study, and depending on it, we camp up five hypotheses. In course of the statistical analysis from the survey’s empirical facts which was focus on the general domestic companies; our analysis concludes the results. 1.The relationships between external personality trait and performance-based pay are significant correlations. The relationships between risk taking personality traits and performance-based pay are significant correlations. The relationships between type A personality traits and hygiene-based, and performance-based, and skill-based pay are significant correlations. 2.There are partially significant correlations between autonomy and pay design factors. 3.There are partially significant correlations between sample attributes and pay design factors. 4.There are partially significant correlations between the interaction of personality traits and autonomy on pay design factors. 5.There are partially significant correlations between the interaction of personality traits and sample attributes on pay design factors.
