Summary:碩士 === 大葉大學 === 教育專業發展研究所 === 97 === This study investigated the influence of a particular instruction, creative drama, on learning Social Science for the fourth grade students . Sixty-four fourth grade students participated in the study. Variables of interest were students' social competence and academic achievement, students' reported use of creative drama for learning from 20 weeks creative drama activities. A randomized pre-test-post-test control group design was employed. The finding showed a statistically significant interaction of creative drama for social competence and academic achievement on learning Social Science. For all outcome variables, the creative drama group showed significantly greater gains from pre-test to post-test than the control group. The findings have implications for both practice and research.
