The purpose of this study is to examine the asset allocation of real estate investment for a life insurer. We investigate the change of efficient frontiers with and without incorporating regulation on the limit of asset allocation. By doing so, we can identify the role of adding real estate and the impact of regulation on the portfolio for a life insurance.
