Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 建築所 === 97 === Along with changes in both the time and environment, in addition to fast economical growth, it would place people’s living and working scenarios under competitive and stressful environment. Hence, it creates many diseases in both the body and mind; eventually, it would severely affect the health at psychological level. In reviewing the past documentations, correlated research findings in regard to stress release and attention restoration, simply by observing and viewing scenes in nature could alleviate the stress, enhance positive emotion, and create even more positive inclinations psychologically. (Ulrich & Simons, 1986). Empirical studies for interactions between human and the nature clearly pointed out that, nature’s landscape can facilitate people with effectiveness of positive emotion, psychology, cognition, behavior and health. Therefore, there could be significant relevance between the deduced experience and subsequent recovery. Urban living suffers with high density in addition to less green land space for leisure purpose. Thus, the campus landscape and environment in the city not only can render both the teacher and student with good space of learning, but also it can provide urban inhabitants with room and space for leisure activities. Nonetheless, in the planning for campus landscape, the question would be asked:What kind of landscape would enable people with higher psychological benefit? This research adopted college campuses in Taichung City (Feng Chia, Tunghai and National Chung Hsing University) with summarization into four types of landscapes. And a minute and half recorded films were separately shown to the subject under study. And the physiological reactions resulted from viewing the documentary films of “Biofeedback” were employed with the assistance from survey appraisal, so as to acquire the psychological effectiveness in preference and attention restoration. The findings from this research are summarized as follow: The characteristics for the landscape preference, environmental preference for subjects under study would differ as result of different university campus landscape environments. The university campus landscape preference, preference characteristic and the attention restoration for subjects under study would differ as result of different university campus landscape types. Subjects under study would exhibit positive physiological reactions after viewing the pretest stimulus films as well as viewing the university campus landscape films. The attention restoration for the subjects under test, the environmental preference as well as the preference characteristic, all of them exhibited positive correlation. And in the preference characteristics, the electromyography for physiological reaction would exhibit significant changes. And the attention restoration for the subject under study and the electromyography for physiological reaction would exhibit relevancy; nevertheless, the attention restoration exhibited no significant changes in regard to the heartbeat from physiological reaction.
