Wetland environment is gradually disappearing due to economical developments resulted from competition between human and nature vying for the same piece of land space. Within this context, human environmental knowledge could have played a rather important role in regard to the environmental protection. If, equipped with understanding about human’s environmental knowledge as well as attitudes towards the environment, appropriate and correlated measures could be taken to alleviate the damages incurred to ecosystem environment. The purpose of this study primarily intends to understand current statuses of coast wetly environmental knowledge in addition to coast wetly environmental attitude. Through the implementation from environmental educational courses, it further explores the elevated knowledge level for college students in regard to coast wetly environment as well as the changes for attitudes towards coast wetly environment. As for the knowledge and development attitude towards coast wetly, this research adopted survey and query to collect necessary data. Subjects under study for survey query were students from Feng Chia University. Analytical method included deploying SPSS computerized statistical analysis software package to conduct statistical analysis. From research findings, it pointed out that the coast wetly environmental knowledge and attitudes observed from the students from Feng Chia University, revealed considerable understanding and positive attitudes from the student’s part. In the aspects of receiving and implementing environmental education, the university students exhibited significant differences in both the knowledge and attitude performances through comparisons between prior and after receiving the environmental education courses. Hence, it is recommended that school sponsor activities or increase courses that are both enriching in nature and vivid in appearance. This way, it can strengthen the acknowledgement towards the environment as well as elevate the concept of environmental protection for students.
