This study aims at the principle of conduction water of double jersey to explore the effect of wicking point variation in terms of moisture management. There were 4 variables considered in this study: yarn、the stitch of wicking point、the repeat times of wicking point and the interval of wicking point stitch. 60 types of double jersey to be experiment according to these variables. It is difficult to evaluate the moisture management function applied only one experiment. Therefore, this study adopted 「Specified Requirements of Moisture Transferring and Quick Drying Textiles」evaluation standard set up by Taiwan Textile Research Institute. The test method included absorbability test、wicking speed test、diffusion area test and drying speed test. Through statistical methods to evaluate and analyse the result of experiments, the conclusion is as follows: 1.Cross profiled fiber is useful for moisture conduction. Therefore, the arrangement of wicking point can not have significant impact on moisture management function. When the interval of wicking point stitch number is 3, it produces the result away from the trend, so the distribution density of the wicking point should have a better correlation distribution. 2.Normal polyester with circular section could increase the effect of moisture management function through the appropriate distribution of wicking point. 3.In the result of wicking speed and diffusion area test, the wicking point with tuck stitch is better than with knit stitch. But the result of drying speed test, the wicking point with knit stitch is better than with tuck stitch. 4.The repeat times of wicking point stitch does not have significant impact on moisture management function.
