At present, the population reached 10.25% with over-65 age in Taiwan in February, 2008. And in 2026, the number of the elderly population will reach 4,900,000 in Taiwan. In the face of such a large population of senior citizens, the elderly consumption has been increasing attention. And GDP share of private consumption accounted for 60% in Taiwan. Therefore, the elderly consumption will become a key factor with GDP growth. This paper uses the calendar year statistical data from the Directorate-General of Budget, Accounting & Statistics. The private consumption will be divided into elderly consumption and non-elderly consumption. And take the next year (1994) as a cut-off point when Taiwan entered the aging society formally, and to build a multiple regression research model. To analyze the effect for GDP. In addition, in view of the consume item for higher elderly consumption expenditure and to use the multiple regression model to analyze the degree of distribution that to master the direction of the item development for elderly consumption. The result showed that the increase of elderly consumers has the significant influence of the GDP growth. Besides, in the recent 13 years, the healthcare is the only one significant in the top five consumer goods of the elderly expenditure rates. But in the increasing of consumer goods of the elderly expenditure rates, the healthcare, entertainment and education have the significant influence.
