Description
Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 土木與生態工程學系碩士班 === 97 === The objective of this study is to investigate the adsorption characteristics of Cu (II) and Pb (II) ions onto black tea leaf powder (BTLP). Parameters affection adsorption kinetic and equilibrium include pH, temperature, and ion strength were evaluated. It was found that the kinetic experimental data could be described by pseudo 2st order equation and the equilibrium data could be described by Langmuir isotherm equation. Results show that the Cu (II) and Pb(II) have better removal efficiency in the alkaline solution. It was found that increased temperature would increase the amount of adsorbed onto BTLP. The Cu (II) maximum adsorption capacities calculated from Langmuir isotherms is 46.4 mg/g. The thermodynamic parameters, ΔG° values range from -5.19 to -4.77 kcal/mol for Cu (II) adsorption, which shows the physical adsorption properties of the BTLP. Thermodynamic parameters indicated that the adsorption is an endothermic process and spontaneous at all temperature. The Pb (II) maximum adsorption capacities is 3.7 mg/g.
