However, numerous businesses can not be run over ten years; needless to say, there are fewer businesses of hundred years. Therefore, understanding of the efficiency of operation and controlling the direction of management are the ways to be prominent for businesses. The industry of semiconductor was selected as one of the most important and advanced industry by Two Trillion and Twin Star Industries Development Plan of government in 2002. Hence, the purpose of this research is to analyze productivity efficiency of the 21 listed companies of semiconductor form 2004 to 2007. It utilizes data envelopment analysis (DEA) using the data of intellectual capital and corporate governance as inputs; and firm value as outputs. Decision Making Units (DMUs) analyzed by traditional DEA models would produce a set of most favorable multipliers for each. And this makes these DMUs compared with each other on a different basis and leads to generate more relative efficient DMUs. However, there are few studies about deal with this issue. Consequently, the research applies the DEA model with assurance region (AR) and Efficiency Achievement Measure (EAM) in Multiple Objectives Programming (MOP) to solve above difficulties. This research results reveal that both DEA/AR and MOP/EAM have more discriminatory ability than the basic DEA models. In addition, according to the analyses of MOP/EAM models, it is found that some big semiconductor manufacturers have advantages of technology acquisition and accumulation, but they may encounter inefficiency of managerial problems due to their large sizes.
